The liveliest place for socialising in the Czech Republic is undoubtedly in Prague. The best way to sample the capital’s nightlife is by going round the city’s bars. They all ooze character and the beer flows well in them.
Outside Prague, most of the nightlife is limited to the local pubs or hotels where there is a good chance a band will be playing. Even Czech’s other cities can be quiet. In saying that, the country’s biggest disco, Bobby Centrum, is in Brno.
The biggest advantage about socialising anywhere in the Czech Republic is the beer which is famous worldwide. The most famous of all these is Budvar, the Czech version of Budweiser. Some say that its better than it’s American counterpart!
